CUSTOM ITEM POLICY

We Welcome Your Item

At Sloane Mercer, we are honored to personalize items you provide for embroidery or customization. Please read our policy carefully before placing your order:

Proof & Approval

• A digital proof will be created using your item.
• Production will not begin until you approve the proof with a digital signature.
• Once approved, Sloane Mercer is not responsible for changes of mind.

Testing & Quality

• Every design is stitched/tested on scrap of a similar material to ensure quality before customization begins.
• While we take the utmost care, customer-provided items are accepted at your own risk. We cannot guarantee replacement should an item be damaged in production.

Cancellations & Life Events

• Should a wedding cancellation, divorce, break-up, death, or other serious event occur that makes the customized item no longer relevant, a credit will be issued for design services only.
• The customer-provided item itself is not refundable.

Limitations of Responsibility

• Manufacturing flaws in customer-provided items.
• Dye variations, fabric weaknesses, or material reactions during embroidery/printing.
• Items lost or damaged in transit to/from Sloane Mercer.

Customer Agreement

By submitting your item, you acknowledge and agree to approve a proof before production, accept that all sales are final once a proof is approved, and release Sloane Mercer from liability for replacement of customer-provided items.
